Advanced Zero Lyte Treatment Unit
“Zero-Lyte”, or “Catholyte” or sodium hydroxide, is considered GRAS as a Food Contact Substance under 21 CFR 184.1763. In its concentrated form it has a pH of more than 12.5, yet it is non-toxic. These solutions are surfactants and feature an elevated pH with a decreased surface tension which enables them to penetrate and break apart even the most ingrained soils.
