Ultra Lyte® Fresh

FDA Food Contacts Substance Notification FCN 2316 allows Ultra-Lyte® or Ultra- Lyte® Fresh, to be used as an antimicrobial agent in an aqueous solution in the preparation of fruits and vegetables (" Produce Wash"), fish and seafood, and shell eggs, between 25-60 ppm free available (FAC) with a shelf life of 6 months. The Benefit: This entirely removes a secondary washing step, preserving thousands of gallons of clean water daily, saving massive amounts of time, and ensuring zero accidental chemical carryover that could compromise the cleaning process. It can be used in Produce Departments of companies like Walmart, Kroger, Ahold Delhaize to replace more toxic products presently used.on fruits and vegetables, with the added benefit of removing biofilms in water systems.
